◆◇ Basic Physical Description ◇◆ [Dai is a slightly tan Dalish elf with rather skinny limbs and a semi curvy figure. Her hair is a dark shade of Russet, a tree that is known for it’s redish brown bark. Her eyes are a forest green with flecks of moss green in them and with the moss green tinting around the pupils of her eyes. Her tattoo is a pale oak color of a tree rising, the trunk extending down her neck in a Celtic knot tradition as the roots are extending down over her breasts. Her hips are rounded and her rear is just slightly above average in roundness but it is also is a bit tight as her body is toned with muscles from all the physical training she does constantly. Her chest is a little above average, ranging about 34C, but it is difficult to tell as she normally has her cloak on.]</sub>

◆◇ Personality ◇◆


[First off her personality is based on who may be speaking to her or she may be speaking to as well as the company she may be in and how well she knows the other individuals. Like Most Dalish if not all she is a bit uneasy around humans, and often acts cold and calculating when dealing with them. Sometimes her somewhat ‘racism’ towards humans causes her to act without thinking, in most cases it’s when a human enters the forest and wanders close to the camp in which her clan lives- if it happens she does not hesitate to shoot them where they stand without speaking to them or trying to warn them to leave the forest. When in the company of ones the clan allows in she is quiet, often twitchy and ready to react, as well as looking to the human with cold angry eyes, showing her distaste in both the look and the way her body is positioned.

 

When around just her clan she is often very cheerful and helpful, always lending a helping hand to anyone who may need something. She often has a habit of overdoing things however, you ask for 2 Halla, she brings back at least twice as many. She also shows this side of herself to those who she might consider as friends, one in particular is a Dwarf she had met who was looking for Iron Bark. Through helping the Dwarf’s noble if not possibly impossible task to make the Iron Bark bend to his will she had formed a friendship with him and had begun to open up and become more like she was in the presence of her clan. But of course opening up to a Dwarf was much easier for her compared to trying to open up to a Human.

 

When in combat she is often calculating and stern and often gets frustrated with people who do not know how to handle themselves in a battle. She tries to allow others to do as they please as she hides and snipes from a distance but due to her stubbornness she will fight back if someone finds her and catches her. Overall in an environment she’s comfortable in she is cheerful, caring, helpful, stubborn, and loyal. In a Battle situation she is caring (Albeit in a cold sort of fashion), stern, Stubborn, calculating, and a bit impatient (If the fight becomes a close combat situation for her or someone is in trouble).]

◆◇ Background ◇◆


[Dáiríne was born on the run, her family had not lived with the clan but further into the woods where they would watch the western borders for anyone who would enter. When the Darkspawn from long ago had found a way to creep out they had been attacked, her father was killed and her pregnant mother had to try and hurry to the clan- but before she could make it she had gone into labor and tried to hide away. Thankfully the clan had heard from one of the Grey Wardens who had been their allies for quite some time and had hurried out- the Grey Warden with them- trying to search for their other brethren. They had destroyed the Darkspawn and sealed the point where they had entered the world and on the way back, following the destruction the Dalish Woman made as she tried to get away they began to search. The search went through the night to the morning after and when they had finally found them her mother had already passed from the blood loss as she was cradling the small infant in her arms in death, trying to keep the squabbling little one quiet.

 

Not knowing the real birthdate of the little babe they decided to just pick the day they found her but her true birthdate is unknown. The scouts had taken the baby back and she was raised by the clan and grew up into a young independent Dalish woman who loved her clan. The moment she was allowed to train to defend the clan she did so, just like her parents before her. Everything was right in the clan and everything was safe- but with peace came the fact that there was no need for as many protectors so she began to take on other small jobs for the Clan in helping out with daily hunting and such. After so many years she began to ask the Matriarch about the other clans and such and if they might need help. Upon hearing that Dalish in EthEnansal might possibly need help she decided to go there, feeling that her clan was in safe enough hands, to help her fellow Dalish.]
